Suburban Distortion

This curious and eclectic piece was developed during an exploration of the color, print, drape and volume seen in 1950s domestic interiors. It seeks to skew and reimagine the classic femininity seen during the decades of white-picket-fence suburbia, to create a dress that blurs tradition and eccentricity. It is entirely adjustable, and allows the wearer to distort her own form, and style the piece to suit her personal vision and aesthetic.
